| Sally B's Sponsors |
Several organisations help us in various ways to achieve our mission to keep the UK's last remaining B-17 Flying Fortress, Sally B, in the UK. So, who's doing what? Here's a list of our sponsors and how they are helping us.
A huge thank you to them all!
|
| The Imperial War Museum Duxford |
| The Imperial War Museum Duxford is the aircraft's permanent home, and in a mutually beneficial agreement, Sally B has been permanently based there for thirty years. When we urgently needed funds, the Museum provided a generous grant of £20,000 to get The B-17 Charitable Trust on its way - the largest single donation received by the charity to date. In recognition of this support, Sally B became the flagship of the American Air Museum. The Museum provides a secure base for the aircraft and as such is invaluable to its continuing operation. |
 |
| Meridian |
| Meridian Aviation, the Bournemouth based UK, Ireland and Spanish Distributor for Piper and Pilatus aircraft have donated and installed £8,000 worth of new navigation equipment to Sally B, including Garmin GNS250 navigation equipment and indicator instrument. |
 |
| Kearsley Airways |
| Kearsley Airways has for the last ten years supplied Chief Engineer Peter Brown with extremely valuable engineering support, by way of testing and overhauling parts. This was especially helpful during the AD problem last winter. |
 |
| DCG Media |
| DCG Media hosted our website from 2004–2007. They redesigned the site and gave it a stronger, more coherent look that brought the beauty and power of Sally B to life. We are grateful for their sponsorship and continued support over that period. |
 |
| DeltaWeb |
| DeltaWeb director Tim Callaway created a first class web site for us. He also looks after it, updating information whenever it is needed, and all of this excellent work is done completely free of charge. It's extremely important to have an effective website, but we couldn't do it without DeltaWeb's support. |
 |
| Air BP |
| Air BP responded to an urgent appeal, put over the commentary at the 2002 Biggin Hill Air Fair, that the aircraft was in need of urgent help to secure its future in the UK. The company came to the aircraft's rescue with a generous donation. |

| Avio-Diepen and Orcon Corporation |
| Avio-Diepen is a global leader in the aerospace industry, specialising in materials management and aviation components distribution, and is the exclusive distributor for the Aerospace Division of Orcon Corporation. Avio-Diepen and Orcon Aerospace has sponsored Sally B with aviation components, including insulation blankets for the cockpit. |
