Over the past two years Sally B has experienced a disastrous series of engine problems meaning that our funds have diminished to the point where more money is urgently needed if we are to continue for even another year.
There are many ways you can help Sally B:
- The 2010 Sally B Anniversary Appeal
Donate to the Sally B Anniversary Appeal and support two amazing milestones, Sally B's 65th birthday and 35 years since our aircraft first arrived in the UK.
- Get Your Name on Sally B
Donate £450 or more (£395 for Sally B Supporters Club Members) and have the name of your choice added to the prestigious Roll of Honour on the outside of Sally B’s fuselage for two whole years.
You and a companion will be invited to join us, as our VIP guests, for a special day with Sally B at Duxford’s main air show on Saturday 4 September 2010, when your chosen name will be officially unveiled – truly a day to remember!
- The Sally B Supporters Club
Another way to help our beloved aircraft is by joining the Sally B Supporters club, now in its 20th year! - a group of friendly, dedicated people whose ultimate aim is to keep Sally B flying. This unique organisation is not just for aviation enthusiasts but for anyone who enjoys sharing a struggle against the odds. Let's face it, keeping a World War II bomber in the air - without sponsorship or outside support, for thirty five years - really is a struggle against almost impossible odds! Members and crew only get access to the inside of Sally B!
